Webinar: A Strategic Approach to Global Treasury Management: At Liz Claiborne PDF
Presented by Kyriba Corporation and Liz Claiborne

As the weak economic environment and credit tightening that began in 2008 continues through today with little sign of improvement, visibility of cash and liquidity is now mandatory and will determine the survival of most every organization.
Industry experts and executives agree:
  • When cash is tight and markets are volatile, corporate treasurers need more tools to adapt and manage new risks.” IDC Financial Insights / Treasury Strategies “Key Trends 2009 Survey”
  • “Companies should assess the costs and risks of not optimizing Treasury technology; most will find that managing this downside is more than enough justification for the investment.” Treasury Strategies “US Treasury Technology: The Time is Now”

If your company is like most others you seldom have timely and complete reporting of global cash. Thus, for Finance and Treasury professionals:
  • What are the key daily operational considerations in the context of Cash Management / Liquidity Management / Working Capital? For example, can consistent workflows and stronger controls be established locally and globally?
  • How can comprehensive cash flow transparency be achieved for multi-entity and multinational organizations?
  • And what role can technology play in accomplishing the goals and objectives set out by Chief Executives at your company?

In other words, what processes should you automate and integrate to get the right information to the right people at the right time?

The session covered considerations for Treasury’s utilization of technology and the path taken to maximize its effectiveness.
