Derek Wise is Chief Technology Officer at Kyriba, responsible for driving the company's technology strategy, engineering organisation, and platform innovation, including its Trusted AI portfolio.
Derek brings more than twenty years of enterprise software leadership spanning cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and data platforms. He joins Kyriba from Civica, a Blackstone-backed GovTech company, where as Chief Product and Technology Officer he led innovation across a platform serving 100 million citizens globally. Prior to that, he was Chief Product Officer at Oracle Data Cloud following the acquisition of Grapeshot, where he served as CTO.
A former United States Marine, Derek's combination of operational discipline and deep AI and cloud expertise is rare at the CTO level. He is a Strategic Advisor to IQ Capital and Adarga, and a Partner at Makude Investment Partners.
