RSM Partnership Delivers Treasury Operation Success at CSIG and More
RSM US LLP is continuing to invest in its treasury operation and is a premier partner to the Kyriba organization. RSM continues to invest in connectivity and payments capabilities, while paying particular focus to important competencies, specifically on risk management, including FX and hedge accounting. Below are some highlights from Q2 2023 successful client wins and implementations:
Common Sail Investment Group (CSIG) is a privately held, operational holding corporation headquartered in Brighton, Michigan. Its brand portfolio includes real estate development, senior housing, and health care.
The treasury team gained efficiency by centralizing CSIG’s banking infrastructure under Kyriba. Not only did the deployment add balances and transactions to the database to improve overall cash management, but it also opened the opportunity of automating GL reconciliations and thousands of cash and financial accounting entries on a monthly basis.
Following further analysis into CSIG’s activities, the RSM team discovered that Kyriba’s debt-keeping module could significantly improve CSIG with their current portfolio since the firm has many property, auto, and corporate loans with various counterparties. The module deployment was completed, and it is already supporting CSIG in automating maturity payments and interest/principal accounting.
Furthermore, Kyriba was able to seamlessly exchange and receive data from Oracle NetSuite, such as accounting entries and vendor payments. Ultimately, Kyriba redesigned CSIG’s daily operations and significantly increased the team’s bandwidth.
